The game will take place at Bawtry Paintball Fields near Doncaster on 7th February 2010 and will be the curtain raiser for the 2010 season.

The Player Pack for ‘Dunkirk – Against All Odds’ is now available for download from http://www.shorelineoutdoor.com – navigate through to the Dunkirk section and it’s under ‘Bookings and Info’.

What to expect this year:

- As if possible, even more pyrotechnics in the final game.
- Pyro game will be played on twin fort field instead of the barrel field – should be awesome!
- 2 man sniper teams, special coloured paint and kills will be recorded
- Tree top platform for sniper teams
- 2 man assassin units
- 6 man body guard teams
- Deep cover Resistance Operatives
- Equal sized teams
- Much larger playing areas
- Longer games – 2 x two hour games followed by non-scoring pyro showcase
- MacDev and Big Dicks trade stands. Frostbite will be £30 a box.
- BraNewbs Professional Photography will be covering the event
- A unit from the British Army will be playing the game
- First in the WWII Campaign Series
- First UKSPC event
- Free Air Safety Training and Passes issued on the day

 Best New / Breakthrough Team of the year 2009

Here is a liltle bit about us:

Name: – Morecambe Bay Assassins

The Personal Bit: – The team was officially formed just before Staargate 2008 with a small number of players, we have now grown to 11 players and have quite a lot of interest from people wanting to join the team or our club. We run a club that people can join to go to games that my not want to get involved in the team scene and help new players to get started, The age range of our club goes from 17 to 36. The team generally plays as a 5 or 7 man squad.

What Do You Feel You Have Done To Get Nominated For This Award: – First off I would like to say thank you for the nomination on behalf of all the of the Assassins, we have had a smile on our faces since we found out  

The team has been strong on the field and has also built a good realationship with lots of other teams from all accross the UK (and a few of our foreign friends too). We always try to do our best on the field of battle weither it be on the paintball field or at the bar  Many teams have enjoyed our player parties at our various camp sites accross the uk or joined us at the bar in the hotel to have a laugh, and we hope that people enjoyed our Mordreds special brew at the After players party at Satr lol

We have enjoyed all the games this year such as AAO, terminator wars and sword and the rings and tryed played along some of the best teams in the UK on many occasions and hope that we will continue to grow and improve over the years to come.

What Else Have You Done This Year: – We have got ourselves sponsored this year by Justpaintball which we are extremely proud of and they have been awesome this year with helping with kit, paint and support. And Im pleased to say this is continuing next year as well. We also played this year out of prozone in Dumfries where we played both England vs Scotland games and numorous walkons.

Morecambe Bay Assassins Next Big Game and 1st Birthday of MBA

A darkness once again sweeps across middle earth, an invisible storm of foreboding seeps into the very core of every living being.

The Evil Lord Saruman draws unto him a vast army, drawn from the very worst beasts and villans that life has to offer. Not content with mustering all evil beings from Middle Earth, he has also used his dark powers to summon from a another time and land the very worst characters that the race of man has to offer.

Sir Mordred is the illigitimate son of the legendary King Arthur and the man who slew Arthur and claimed the throne for himself. No stranger to wickedness, Sir Mordred is only too eager to join Saruman and share in the spoils of plunder.

The only hope for Middle Earth is an alliance forged under the leadership of the wise old wizard, Gandalf the Grey.
Rallying to his cause are such noble races as the Elfs and Dwarfs, both of whom have proud and fearsome records in combat. They will fight, side by side as brothers in order to stop the march of Evil and preserve Middle Earth from tyranny.

Unbeknown to Saruman, the wiley Gandalf employed some trickery of his own. Whilst Saruman was busy summoning the forces of Sir Mordred, Gandalf took advantage of the open portal and managed to whisk through his own help from the same land and era……no less a figure than King Arthur himself and his legendary Knights of the Round Table have been rallied to the cause. Saruman is in for a surprise!
